For sorting corncobs or kernels Protec offers its machines’ sophisticated technology.

Ears of corn are sorted with the EXtrasorter: effective and compact, it removes green or rotten ears of corn, corncobs and ears covered in leaves and animals. Foreign bodies are detected and removed thanks to infrared light technology and an electro-pneumatic palette system.

Protec’s Duett sorting machine uses an unique double vision system and four cameras to sort fresh corn kernels, detect and remove black, rotten, defective kernels and foreign bodies.
